Throughout history, Flatweave carpeting has been a popular woven structure
and has remained in fashion due to its timeless style, its popularity and its
enduring practicality. Although the roots of the flatwoven style originated in
Iran, Peru, Turkey, and the Ussr, the techniques, designs and structures were
re-introduced to the U.S. in 1966 at the textile museum in Washington D.C.
Our flat woven collection offers a wide variety of weaves, textures and
complex patterns. Our jacquard looms produce ingrain carpet and intricate
seamless designs up to 27’ wide, with a practically unlimited length. Our
horizontal pit treadle looms have the ability to produce flatwoven creations
in wool, linen, silk, chenille, cotton, jute, and metallic yarns.
